Three to five weeks from the day you order to the day it's in your home. Delivery included.
On the Costa del Sol, we deliver it ourselves
If you live in Mijas, Marbella, Fuengirola, Estepona or Benahavís, your furniture doesn't travel with a courier.
We bring it to you. We carry it up to the room it's going in, assemble it in front of you, check the drawers run properly and take the packaging away with us. You don't get left with five cardboard boxes in your living room.
The person who made your furniture is the one who delivers it. If something isn't right, you're talking to the person who built it — not to a driver who knows nothing about the piece.
And if you'd like us to see the space before you decide on a model or a size, we can come round first. No obligation.
Everywhere else in Spain
We ship with a courier, in reinforced packaging and with the legs detached so they travel protected. Assembly takes a few minutes with an ordinary screwdriver.
Your furniture doesn't exist yet
When you click buy, nobody goes looking for your bedside table in a warehouse. It isn't made. It starts being built that same week.
Someone picks the boards, looks at the grain and rejects the ones with a knot in the wrong place. Cuts. Joins. Sands by hand until the edge doesn't catch. Applies the finish and waits for it to dry. Sands again. And only then packs it.
That's three weeks of real work, plus delivery. It isn't an administrative delay: it's how long it takes one person to make a piece of furniture.
Why other places take 48 hours
Because they have five thousand identical units stacked in a warehouse in Eastern Europe, made eight months ago by a machine that can't tell a good board from a bad one. They ship fast because it was already made before you existed as a customer.
That's a legitimate model, and a cheaper one. But then the furniture isn't yours: it's one of five thousand, and you get whichever was nearest the door.
What you gain by waiting
- Timber chosen board by board, not whatever comes off the pallet.
- Nobody has handled your furniture. It goes from the workshop to your home, with no shop or warehouse in between.
- You can ask for changes while it hasn't been started: a different size, another finish. Because we build it, there's room.
- If something fails in ten years, we know exactly how it's made, because we made it.
What happens while you wait
We don't leave you in the dark. We write to you when we start your piece and when it leaves the workshop. If you want to know how it's going at any point, just ask.
If it arrives by courier
Check the package in front of the driver. If the packaging arrives torn, dented or wet, note it on the delivery slip before signing and tell us the same day. With that note we can claim from the courier and replace the piece at no cost to you. If you sign it off and the damage turns up later, it's much harder to defend.
If we run late
We work with natural timber. Sometimes a board isn't the quality we want and we have to start again. If that happens with your order, we'll tell you as soon as we know and give you a new date.
We'd rather tell you than send you something we wouldn't be happy with ourselves.
If you need it by a particular date
Write to us before ordering and we'll confirm whether we can make it. Better to tell you no in time than to let you down later.
